- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: On Britain’s railways the age of steam is passing, and at the locomotive works at Brighton we see what is happening to some of the grand old "Iron Horses" which have outlived their usefulness. At Eastleigh we find their replacements - very latest diesel-electric trains which can develop up to two thousand horsepower and exceed speeds of eighty miles an hour.
