Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bardia Blasted and Captured. DESCRIPTION: For two days and nights ships of the Mediterranean fleet shelled Bardia. Meanwhile tanks and artillery moved on from Sidi Barrani to capture Bardia. SHOTLIST: The sun sets behind Sidi Barrani as the Mediterranean Battle Fleet steams past to shell Bardia. Various shots of the bombardment and the monitor HMS "Terror". Ashore, shots of wrecked strong points. Tanks and guns move forward along the Mussolini road which is complete with a memorial stone to the Top Wop. Troops pass Sollum Harbour and roads have to be repaired in order that our troops might pass. Shots of the thousands and thousands of prisoners. Very good shots of night firing in this story.
