Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ramsgate & Dover Damage and Air Duel (SE Coast Towns Give & Take). DESCRIPTION: Dover has been bombed and shelled with much damage to property. Ramsgate too has sustained much damage but the morale of the inhabitants is high. The RAF fighters continue to take on Nazi raiders over the South East Coast. SHOTLIST: Dover houses & buildings have been wrecked after repeated shelling. Ramsgate was bombed but similar scenes meet the eye. CUs of happy populace. Anderson shelters have stood the test very well. German planes fly home, a "Hurricane" attacks and is shot down. The pilot floats to earth by his parachute. Out at sea a German seaplane searches for German pilots while a motor launch rushes out and brings ashore our flyer. A German is also rescued and led away to captivity.
