MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Earl of Cavan Hands Out Shamrocks to Irish Guards on St Patrick’s Day. DESCRIPTION: In London the Irish Guards are presented with shamrocks by Lord Cavan. In Liverpool it is marked by a Parade and shamrock presented by Lord Derby and Lord Mayor. SHOTLIST: The officers are handed the baskets of shamrocks by the Earl and they distribute it to the men who wear it in their caps.
