Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russo-Finnish Peace. DESCRIPTION: The Finnish Foreign Minister explains why they made peace. SHOTLIST: The Finnish flag flutters at half mast over the Savoy Hotel in Helsinki. Foreign Minister Tanner broadcasts and addresses press representatives. In the streets the people read the proclamations posted on walls and buy pamphlets which give an account of the peace and the negotiations. Finland Stunned By Peace Declaration - CARD 38630A CU Finnish flag flying at half mast. CU Foreign Minister Tanner. Tanner at Press Conference. In the Capital people read notices about the peace, people buy papers. CU various peoples reaction, they do not seem to like it.
