Summary

8th Army invasion force land on Italy’s "foot" and an amphibian takes General Montgomery across the Straits to set up his HQ on the mainland. Lifting of censorship enables further film to be shown of the start of operations in Sicily. Allied landings are seen, also some of the ships which were hit by enemy bombers. Montgomery in Italian town watches British troops pass through streets.
