Summary
Ever westward roll the Russian armies. Wrecked equipment marks the road of the German route at Taganrog and Mariupol and Russian successes around Smolensk robbed the Germans of hundreds of locomotives. Almost hourly the threat to German-held Kiev grows and Nazi attempts to consolidate are smashed as the forced German exodus from Russia is hastened before the winter.
