Summary
With Marauders of the 8th United States Air Force over northern France as part of the stepping up of fighter and bomber assaults on Europe. B26 bombers over targets around Lille, Amiens and Boulogne. Enemy opposition was mainly from the ground. Back in Britain, girl plotters were hard at work in the operations rooms and officers study the plan of battle as reports come in. The intensity of the raids can be seen during the raids in progress, pictures of pattern bombing with bomb flashes covering the ground. In another part of northern France an important target is searched out, hidden amongst the trees.
