The RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce) works to remove the barriers to social progress. It drives ideas, innovation and social change through an ambitious programme of projects, events and lectures. These lectures, available as live webcasts, streamed video or audio, and podcasts, feature some of the world’s most influencial thinkers such as Steven Pinker, and cover a wide range of topics such as whether scientists get the media they deserve, the science of persuasion, secularism, and restructuring the global economy for a sustainable future. There is also a series of podcast interviews with Royal Designers. A particularly notable new addition is the ingenious RSA Animate series, which includes animated interpretations of essays from the likes of Philip Zimbardo, Jeremy Rifkin and Barbara Ehrenreich.
