Synopsis
Audio recording of a discussion held at BAFTA on 28/10/2011. Which techniques can be adapted from film, TV and other media to make characters and stories in video games more engaging, and which need radical re-invention? The panel of writers was chaired by Andrew Walsh (X3:Reunion, Prince of Persia, and Medieval II: Total War) and comprised Rhianna Pratchett (Heavenly Sword, the Overlord series, Mirror’s Edge),
Ed Stern (Brink, the Enemy Territory series) and Jim Swallow (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Killzone 2). 86 minutes.
