Synopsis

Radio programme featuring a selection of poetry and music on the theme of sleep. The programme includes an excerpt from Macbeth III ii ("Come Seeling Night")
read by Adrian Rawlins and a Tanglewood Festival Chorus recording of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Judi Dench as narrator. Lisa Dillon reads Sonnet 27.
