Kia Ora Advert - Nell Gwyn

Synopsis

Cinema advertisement for Kia Ora orange juice. The thirst audiences had for fresh oranges in an Elizabethan theatre is compared to contemporary cinema-goers and boxes of fresh Kia Ora juice. An Elizabethan performance of Hamlet. Hamlet begins to recite ‘Alas, Poor Yorick’ when he is interrupted by a man in the audience shouting ‘Nell’. Nell promptly distributes fresh oranges to the crowds who clamour to buy the fruit. Nell then appears as an usherette standing with a supply of fresh Kia Ora orange juice for cinemagoers. KIA ORA.
