Scarlet Pimpernel, The

Synopsis
Feature film version of the novel by Baroness Orczy set in the French Revolution. At the end of the film, the Scarlet Pimpernel, when he encounters his arch-rival Blakeney, quotes part of John of Gaunt’s speech ‘This royal throne of kings, this scepter’d isle’ (II i) and then states that he has forgotten the rest of the quotation.
