- Deals with Georgi Zhukov’s peasant upbringing, early days in Moscow, progress in the Red Army, and subsequent clases with Joseph Stalin. Continues with his career in the Second World War as Stalin’s deputy and trouble-shooter, concluding with his triumphant assault on Berlin in the last phase of the war in 1945.
