Synopsis
The paediatrician’s approach to the clinical examination of children. Includes aspects of testing, development, hearing and vision. Babies, toddlers and school children are examined. The main emphasis is on normality but many variants and pathological conditions are shown in stills and video clips. Graphics are used to underline certain aspects of head growth and squint. Intended as a companion to ‘Lecture Notes in Paediatrics’ by Meadow and Smithells (Blackwell, 1986)
