Write Dance
- Synopsis
- Describes a method of teaching writing to primary schoolchildren developed by Ragnhild Oussoren Voors and widely used in Sweden, Denmark, German and the Netherlands. It aims to help children improve their physical co-ordination through a combination of movement, dance, music and drawing, and allows them to develop a personal, rhythmical and legible handwriting style. Each of the nine themes uses music to help develop large motor movements, which are then transferred to paper using both hands. The video shows Ragnhild Oussoren Voors working with English and Dutch children.
