CBS News footage of the Tet offensive during the Vietnam war, which started when the Viet Cong struck on the day of the Tet festival, the most sacred of all Vietnamese festivals. This was the most important event of the war - until then America believed it could not lose the war. When it was all over, America finally realised it could not win.
