Synopsis
On 23rd March, 1984, a young British civil servant was sentenced to six months in prison for disclosing secrets to a daily newspaper. She maintained that revealing the documents, which dealt with the arrival of cruise missiles in the United Kingdom, was in the public interest. Includes interviews with the civil servant, Sarah Tisdall, and other men and women who have risked gaol or job loss for revealing information to the media.
