Synopsis
Since the Lascaux caves are now closed to the public, a reproduction of them has been undertaken. The film analyses, through the difficulties encountered by the team of painters and sculptors currently working on them, the paintings of Lascaux, and indicates the techniques used by the prehistoric artists.
