Ladykillers, The

Synopsis
Feature film. Mrs Louisa Wilberforce, a widow living alone in a Victorian house near St Pancras station, rents her upstairs room to a mysterious ‘Professor Marcus’, who meets with four oddly assorted friends to play chamber music. The musical quintet is, in fact, a cover to their plans to commit a security van robbery at King’s Cross station. They carry out the robbery with Mrs Wilberforce’s unwitting help, but as they are about to leave, she discovers the truth. They plot to kill her but cannot bring themselves to do it and succeed only in eliminating each other.
