- Synopsis
- The Kayapo belong to a group of ancient tribal societies that have inhabited their present area of central Brazil for over 2000 years. The film covers the progression of a person’s life from child to adolescent, from young adult to fully mature adult. Explores the hierarchy of society first through a series of vignettes of the life of the senior men and secondly through the the mobilisation of a ceremonial fishing expedition. Shows the fine oratorical abilities of these men.
