The Downtown Flyer. This week’s Network programme courtesy of Downtown Radio on 2 Ulstermen who plan to take on the Round Britain and Ireland Boat Race in a specially-built yacht. Looks at events from the building of the multi-hulled yacht, to its launch. The pair, Bryan Lowe and Dick Gomme, talk to Harry Castles about the design, building and cost of the yacht and plan the journey ahead. Neither man had sailed a yacht of this type before.
