Description
The Government has proposed tests for schools at regular intervals to check the students’ progress. The NUT has opposed any such testing, claiming it will lead to streaming, and that blanket testing is wrong, and could lead to poorer education. Teachers Pauline Gorman and Dave Marshall comment on the proposals; Len Cooper of the NASUWT also airs his views. Male reporter not identified.
