Title
Food, glorious food
Date
1985
Description
From March 18th, supermarket shoppers in Britain will be able to see at a glance what is and isn’t top quality British food with the introduction of the ‘Food from Britain Food Mark’. But what does it all mean and why have a quasi-government organisation run quality control on food when individual supermarket groups have undertaken similar schemes themselves for years? In ‘Food, Glorious Food’ Dickie Arbiter talks to some of the people behind the supermarkets which participate in the benefit, and to the Agriculture Minister who launched the scheme.
