Taming of the Shrew(S), The

Synopsis
Single camera recording of an adaptation of the Shakespeare play that presents the complex relationship between Katherine and Petruchio as an over-the-top comedy, a tragedy of abuse, and a genuine love story. Who is tamed and who does the taming is explored by three Katherines and three Petrucchios. The parts are all played by women currently incarcerated in Missouri’. The play lasts just under an hour and is followed by a discussion.
