Masters of Defence

Synopsis
A history of swordplay tracing the evolution of civilian swords and fighting techniques from the street fights of the 16th century to the swordplay of the 18th century fencing schools, drawing on texts and illustrations from the masters of the period such as Marozzo, George Silver and Capo Ferro.
