Welterweight championship of Great Britain takes place at the Albert Hall between Roderick of the RAF and Danahar of the Irish Guards, with referee Barrington-Dalby. Roderick wins the Lonsdale Belt outright and the RAF Benevolent Fund benefits by nearly £6,000.
