Summary
Soviet women trained as ambulance girls and other auxiliary services leave for the front. Boys under military age in Gorki organise a voluntary rail repair detachment. Russian armoured train goes into action and completely destroys an enemy staff headquarters. In the village of Budennovskiy, birthplace of Marshal Budenny, Kuban Cossack villagers parade before the Marshal’s mother before setting off for a cavalry exercise. A German deserter crosses the Soviet lines as a result of leaflets dropped by Russian planes inviting Germans to give themselves up on the assurance of life and good treatment. Nazi airman is taken prisoner after being shot down.
