Story
- Summary
- NfO synopsis: Tobacco production process. This film seems to depict George Frederick Whitmore’s tobacco growing cottage industry in Methwold, Norfolk. Whitmore held the first commercial tobacco growing license in the UK. The business was established around 1912 but failed some years later (c.1920?) due to poor weather conditions and competition.
