- March of Time synopsis: The second worst railroad wreck in history, scandalous collapse of a loan company, "suicide" of an international crook, Alexandre Stavisky, set the stage for widespread and turbulent protest in France against the wholesale political corruption thus exposed. Under Col. Francois de la Rocque emerges the anti-Communist Croix de Feu, numbering 400,000, and pledged to strong authority. "Be ready!" exhorts their leader., "Our hour is at hand! Tomorrow, or the next day, mobilization!"
