Summary
COI synopsis: How do you tell whether a driver is keeping his eye on the road? The answer is provided by a piece of equipment developed by the Road Research Laboratory. Basically it films the view the driver has and superimposes a white dot to show where he is looking at every moment. As well as providing information on the driver’s behaviour it also benefits planners in the design of roads, road signs and markings for safer motoring.
