Summary
COI synopsis: A remarkable development in the knitting industry. No more baggy sweaters and dresses! To put it to the test, reporter Roger Cook flew to Scotland.
Researcher Comments
Features a process developed by the Fabric Science Department at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. Using a standard flat bed knitting machine, they developed a way of combining the advantages of knitting and weaving, adding weft and warp yarns which keep the knitted fabric in shape.
