- Summary
- COI synopsis: A memorial programme to the great Ethiopian athlete, Abede Bikila, the first man to win the Olympic marathon twice running. Subsequently, Bikila was desperately injured in a motor car accident, was paralysed and survived to represent his country as an archer in the paraplegic Olympics. He died four years after his accident.
