Summary
NoS Summary - A profile of an engineering feat, carried out by London Transport - the demolition and building of a bridge over the railway in just one night.
NoS synopsis: Night scenes of demolition of a bridge on the Metropolitan Line near Ladbroke Grove station. Men use burners to remove sleepers, track and girders from the line. The new bridge is then pulled into position from the side. The first train ran through by 11pm, work having started at 1am that morning.
