Summary
NoS Summary - obese man eats and drinks to excess and a bucking bronco car
British Pathe synopsis: "Weighing 37 stones this merry monster (who is passing through a small lunch) would be the despair of any boarding house" M/S of an obese man sitting at a table in the open air. A waiter brings him food - there are many things already on the table. Various shots of the man eating and drinking to excess. "Thirty eggs at one sitting! (one egg - one mouthful!)" M/S of the man shaking salt onto his eggs. C/U of him popping one into his mouth. He lights a cigar as the waiter brings him the bill. "Here’s another "strange happening" - a rough-riding auto." M/S of a strange road vehicle. A cross between a car and a bus - about six people on board. Man straddles the engine holding his hat in the air like a rodeo driver, no wonder the car bucks like a bucking bronco! High angle shot of the car bucking down a city street. Point of view shot of the strange vehicle from on board another car.
