Summary
British Pathe synopsis: "Like London, Copenhagen, with its many waterways has a bridge problem." Moving shot from on board a boat of buildings on a quayside. Boat passes underneath a bridge. Boat passes the "Hotel Kronprinsen" and other buildings - shops and private residences. "Some voted for the "rising bridge" style" Stationary M/S of a split bridge opening up. Dissolve to shot of boat passing through. Dissolve to shot of bridge lowering. People walk across the bridge as it moves back into place. "But, the real gem of Copenhagen is its massive swing bridge." M/S of the swing bridge in operation. A ship passes through. Pedestrians walk across once the bridge has returned. "All sorts of traffic pass over it - from trains to trams." M/S of large train crossing the bridge, followed by a tram.
