British Pathe synopsis: Montserrat, Spain. "Thirty miles from Barcelona, towers the great bulk of Montserrat - a jagged mass of pinnacles and spires. To get there is simple - by mountain railway." Low angle of a small train beginning a long climb up a mountain railway track. Camera tilts up as the train moves away. Point of view shot from the train of the buildings below. Various shots of the views of the mountains from the train. "Legend says, these dwelling places of the old mountain gods were split by the powers of good at the time of the Crucifixion." High angle shot of the mountainside. Camera tilts down. "And in the distance is the calm Mediterranean." High angle shot of the town below with sea in the background.
