Summary
NoS Summary - busy harbour city of Trondhjem including the fish market.
British Pathe synopsis: "Forty thousand Trondhjem inhabitants will tell you what a fine old City theirs is - and how wide the streets." Scenic L/S of the town inside an oval framing mask. L/S of a city street - snow on the ground. L/S of a building with large expanse of ground in front. "The Royal Palace - all wood -" L/S of the Palace, a tram passes by in the foreground. "But, Trondhjem, gives pride of place to its harbour and the busy fishing boats" L/S of harbour - fishing boat passes the camera. High angle shot of fishermen selling their wares beside their boats - panning shot. Quayside - lots of stalls set out - selling fish presumably. Shoppers mill around. Dissolve into a closer view of stall holders and their wares. One stall holder holds up various fish on the end of a stick to show the camera.
