Summary
NoS Summary - Stunt involving flying an aircraft into a building which collapses
British Pathe synopsis: "Here’s the funniest man in the World. (To show his particular humour, he adopts a little protection.)" M/S of a man putting on a padded breastplate - like those worn by American Football players. C/U of the man as he puts on a leather flying helmet. He puts on a mask with wire face protection. "And now for his little bit of fun. It consists of flying at 70 miles an hour straight into a wooden cabin." M/S of an aircraft flying towards a wooden hut, it crashes into it. The hut collapses, it seems to be at some kind of showground. People crowd around the wreckage. "Slow motion lets you form your own opinion of his amusement! (Watch the wings shear off on the two poles in front of the cabin.)" Good shot showing the aircraft crashing in slow motion. C/U of the stunt artist combing his hair.
