Summary
NoS Summary - Bulldogs - at play, on show, going for walks etc.
British Pathe synopsis: "One of the oldest breeds, the Bulldog, is always considered typical of England." L/S of man and woman walking through a gate into a field. They each have several Bulldogs on leads. M/S of the couple walking through the field with the dogs. C/U of woman holding one of the dogs. High angle shot of five of the dogs. C/U of one of the dogs with his tongue hanging out. "They always give an impression of power." Low angle of three dogs on leads. C/U of two dogs on leads. C/U of one. "He is, however, a good companion and can be as playful as any other dog." M/S of man sitting on the grass playing with one of the dogs. He throws a ball for the dog and he runs after it. "Here is a champion - a symbol of strength." Low angle of the dog standing on a box. He poses for a while then gets fed up and jumps off. C/U of the dog. M/S of a trophy cabinet - lots and lots of trophies and rosettes.
