NoS Summary - crooked road in San Francisco is filmed by daredevil cameraman
British Pathe synopsis: "It’s a long road that can’t stop turning...but this is the only way the San Francisco folk solved a steep hill problem..." L/S of a very curvy road in San Francisco, (probably Lombard Street). Cars travel up it. Shot from the top of the road - cars travel down. Shot from the bottom again. "Our Cameraman took a ride on this crooked road and says "you don’t need to go to sea to get seasick!" L/S of a car with cameraman visible standing on a board attached to the front. The car drives up the road. C/U of the cameraman on the front of the car as seen by the driver. C/U of the driver and passenger as seen from the cameraman’s point of view. The Pathe cockerel logo and the words "Pathe News" are inscribed on the windscreen of the car. The passenger takes a photograph of the cameraman filming him. The car makes its way up the winding road. "Course, mind you, he might have tried this way..." Sped up film of the cars roaring up the zig-a-zag road.
