Summary
NoS synopsis: "These are the days of Regattas and Eve is in her glory by the cool waters." High angle shot of a picturesque riverbank scene. M/S of two women on the riverbank holding balloons. Moving shot of two crews in a rowing race. "Strenuous fellows in midstream are fighting out their battles." Camera follows the rowers as they move past the cameras. High angle shot of a boat moored close to the riverbank. Two women relax in the boat. "In punts, boats and on the banks, the girls carry on with their side of the pastime - enjoying themselves." Short shot of women punting along the river. M/S of group of men and women sitting in deck chairs presumably watching the race. C/U of woman sitting in a punt with large bunch of balloons, she laughs. L/S of the river. Another shot of the racing rowers. M/S of girls watching the race. "Meanwhile, to show there is hard work going on, the lusty Adams are still going strong." L/S of the rowers as the race ends. Scenic view of the river, houses on the other bank.
