Summary
NoS synopsis: "the Musical Play at the Gaiety Theatre, London". "Kenneth Kove has a hair-raising time when the "barbers" (George Clarke and Roy Royston) take him in hand." Comedy sketch showing Kenneth having his hair messed around with by George and Roy. They give him a silly hairdo then spray him with pretend hairspray from a crop spraying gun. The two "barbers" dance around the stage. One waters his head with a watering can. Another attempts to cut his nose off with a large pair of scissors. They put his hat back on and they dance around. One of them does silly impersonations of exhibition dance steps. He dances around with his hands above his head and the others tickle him under the arms. "Tripping a light fantastic - and very daintily, too, in this dance - " The chorus, dressed in evening gowns and tails do an elegant routine. The girls link arms and dance together, then split up and dance with their partners. This routine is mostly shot from a box - man is seen on edge of shot applauding the routine at the end.
