Summary
NoS Summary - Fashions are displayed at the race course.
NoS synopsis: Deauville, France. Introductory intertitle reads: "Not everybody goes to "Doughville" to bask on the sands or plunge into the Casino - thousands of the fair ones bask on the Race course." High angle shot of the race course. Horses are being walked in the paddock. High angle shot of people milling around. Various shots of the crowds. "The whole place speaks of money - and in between the times when the ladies are "weighing-up" each other’s frocks, races are run." Panning shot of a race. "All the men thinking of the Tote prices (if they win) and the girls of bright dresses and glittering jewels, if they win -" More shots of the crowds. "And perhaps, in some quiet spot one or two special creations to be seen - " Various shots of some especially glamorous frocks. C/Us of some fashion details including low backs of dresses and frilly skirts. "And meanwhile, another race has gone by, and somebody looks like going straight home without the option of a call on the Casino to lose the balance -". Shot of the crowds in the stands and another race.
