Summary
NoS Summary - Children’s regatta - various races for the kids.
NoS synopsis: "Regattas are usually run for the grown-ups. This one, however, was for the kiddies, and great fun it was, too." M/S of a group of boys in small rowing boats about to start a race at a children’s regatta. The fronts of the boats are being held by older men, they let go and the boys set off. "The "canoe’dlers’" race." We see a canoe race. Teams of two row small canoes across the water. "The sailing event had an energetic preliminary -" A sailing race takes place - we see teams preparing their boats. Young children raise the sails. "They’re off!" The small sailing boats are set on their way. Quick C/U of two of the young sailors. Spectators wave at the boats. L/S of boats under sail. Various shots of boats on the water. L/S of boats moving towards camera. "A good winner." The winning boat approaches the finishing line.
