Summary
NoS Summary - A world champion diver shows her craft
NoS synopsis: "To be a world’s champion diver is evidence of Miss Riggin’s perfect headers. Watch this running swallow dive." She demonstrates her diving technique for the camera. "Miss Riggin was world’s champion at the age of 13", said Mr W. J. Howcroft, the well-known swimming authority. "Surely a record." We see Miss Riggin diving in slow motion. "A neat Jack knife." A jack knife is demonstrated, "Now a full twist - cleverly and gracefully done." then a full twist. Youngsters watch and applaud. Various dives are seen in slow motion. "Perfect body control is necessary for the one-and-a-half somersault." We see Miss Riggin enter the water from a high angle - possibly from a higher diving board. "One of Miss Riggin’s little jokes - the Fountain dive." This is a dive where Miss Riggin spurts water from her mouth as she dives in.
