Summary
NoS Summary - Young women train for American Football - tackles and exercising.
British Pathe synopsis: United States of America. A group of women in American Football outfits and helmets in training. They jog around in a small circle. They then jog punching into the air. Lying on their backs they do the "dying fly" making bicycle riding movements with their legs in the air. Intertitle reads: "A girl who can tackle like this will never need to walk home - " One of the girls practices a tackle. Others stand legs akimbo watching. A dozen or so girls practice tackling with a stuffed pair of man’s trousers which hang on a chain. One girl dives at it with her head. The girls practice throwing the ball between their legs and jumping on top of the opposition. End shots are of the girls in their helmets chanting and smiling. They look quite young - teenagers.
