Summary
NoS Summary - women at work harvesting and packing flowers.
British Pathe synopsis: Introductory intertitle reads: "Work in the breeze - work in the sun - all for Eve - for "her" eyes are those which light up with the brightness of these flowers - " L/S of group of men picking daffodils in a field - presumably a large plant nursery in Cornwall. C/U of a man bending down with his hand full of a large bunch he has picked. L/S of the flowers being gathered together. Boxes of flowers are put onto a cart which is drawn by a horse. "Eve does take a hand - in fact a lot of hands - in the bunching and tying of these Cornish NoSles of sunshine - " M/S of seven women working at a bench tying the flowers into bunches. They laugh as they work. Closer shot of two of the women at work. Another view of some of the women at work. "But, Adam, of course, does the boxing and cutting." L/S of men chopping the ends of the stalks off and gathering together in larger bunches. C/Us of a teenage boy at work. C/U of the bunches being placed into boxes. The boxes are then stacked onto a cart. The horse drawn cart is led out of the greenhouse stacked high with boxes.
