Summary
COI synopsis: The eye and the camera have many similarities, but a damaged eye is much more difficult to repair. An eye surgeon has now developed a technique to repair damage at the front of the eye with a screw-in perspex lens unit similar in principle to the interchangeable lenses of some cameras.
