Summary
COI synopsis: London is a magnet for thousands of visitors from all over the world. Though stimulating, like other big cities, London can also be a little bewildering, especially for young people a long way from home and friends. ‘The Centre’ is a new kind of meeting place in the heart of London which has become something of a second home for young people from all over the world living and working in the city. Diana MacLean talked to members and saw something of why this one club should have had as many as 27,000 visits during the first year alone.
Researcher Comments
NB: ‘London Line, No. 543’ ran the same story.
